Not flying to Cambodia, as we took a bus!

We've crossed the border and are now in Cambodia. If you look carefully at the pictures, you will spot some cows walking in 'no man's land' between Vietnam and Cambodia. You wonder where they could get a passport? Is there a Mooooo office over there? 😄

Speaking of surprises, I got the song Cambodia of Kim Wilde in my head while crossing the border. I imagined Kim Wilde was well known, but it turns out the Canadians and even our Cambodian guide don't know her. I'll make sure that they'll get to know her though. After all, it does refer to one of the darkest history pages of Cambodia.
If you don't know the song: https://youtu.be/BERFZja9wb0?si=L6NKvWgU1jj8367D

Moving on ... we have arrived in Phnom Penh. Even though Cambodia is the poorest country on the tour (potentially together with Laos), the city is probably the nicest one we've seen on the tour so far.

Tomorrow, despite me having a terrible cough, I will go to places that aren't happy places ... but out of respect for about 3 million people, I will go ... It will be a very sad blog post about the Pol Pot regime! Just warning!
